OverviewThis 2 year old by Wild Ruler arrived safely at Highline Thoroughbreds in Cambridge, following purchase at the 2025 Karaka Ready to Run Sale. The horse has settled in very well, and after 10 days on the farm he has quickly found his groove. He is easy to handle, has a lovely temperament and is a strong eater. He is already active in the paddock and will head into pre-training in early January following a spell of eight weeks. This strapping son of Wild Ruler is destined for an autumn 2 year old campaign, and following a Spring 3 year old campaign in New Zealand, where he will target short to middle distance black type races. He will go to Cambridge trainer Andrew Foresman in late January following 3-4 weeks of pre-training. The young horse, by a first season Australian speed sire, will come up early - so there won’t be much waiting around! Owners who want to get to the races, should see him trialling and possibly racing in the autumn. Please note, this horse has already won a 600m Levin jump out with Marton trainer Fraser Auret who prepared the horse for this year's Ready to Run Sale - in that track gallop he showed blistering speed and stacks of natural ability winning by over 100m.This gelding would suit an owner who wants a horse trained in the northern regions and has dreams of winning a big race like the NZB Kiwi at Ellerslie, the Guineas or even a Railway. Kingmakers' trainer Andrew Forsman is kicking plenty of goals, and currently has multiple runners on all of the big Saturdays through the season. Last year Andrew was fourth on the trainers premiership. He also has the option to transfer quality horses to his satellite stable in Melbourne.VISIT www.kingmakers.co.nz FOR MORE INFORMATION

Why did Kingmakers buy him?To sum this filly up, I would say she has the pedigree and relaxed nature to stay over ground. She is by Tarzino out of a young So You Think mare. She won’t be small and has good length about her and good length of leg.Conformation wise, she is well put together. She will grow to be about 16.0 hands and sit at 500kg racing weight as a 3-year old. She is strong through the middle (girth), a physical attribute we look for in yearlings. Her joints and legs are typical of the dam sire So You Think and she has great flex in her fetlocks and tidy knees. When asking Russell Warwick, of Westbuy Stud his opinion of her, he said three words. Oaks, Oaks, Oaks.Simply put, we bought her to go to Joe Pride in Sydney, to aim for the Australian Oaks or Queensland Oaks. We purchased her for a good price (being a first foal), she has plenty of strength and substance, a good length and plenty of leg under her to develop into a filly big enough to go over ground. When parading she oozed so much of the dam sire, So You Think - which we loved. A High Chaparral bloodline, often too expensive to purchase, we thought we would get our chance with this filly through the dam’s sire.In summary, this filly was bought from Karaka's Book One Yearling Sale, Lot 182. She is out of a young mare and we think this genetic cross is new ground. Her temperament will take her a long way - hopefully 2400m in under 2.30.00.VISIT www.kingmakers.co.nz FOR MORE INFORMATION

Second foal out of beautifully bred Medaglia Doro mare Ama La Vita who is from incredible Australian speed family such as Lean Mean Machine and Hitotsu. This strong 2YO colt looks just like Choisir and certainly seems like an early type. He’s fully broken in and educated. His next prep in July will see him off to the trainer for his first education, jump outs etc.- Price: A 5% share is $3,855, which covers the purchase price + GST ($57,500), Insurance, Karaka Millions 2YO & 3YO entry, Pearl Series, vetting, float, scope, and sales cost/research fee.The monthly contribution for a 5% share is $185 per month, starting in April, to cover breaking-in costs and agistment from now until then. She will head to Allan Sharrock’s stable immediately after her early education.WHY WE THINK SHE IS WORTH A PUNT:This filly has the pedigree and conformation to be a 2YO runner, but also the scope to train on at 3YO and beyond. That’s what excites me - both Bivouac and her granddam Karuta Queen had exceptional careers past their juvenile season. She also holds strong residual value if she picks up black type or even just wins a few Saturday races. Right now, her price is in line with her sire’s service fee, making her outstanding value. A lovely type that shouldn’t take long to get to the races. Her trainer, Allan Sharrock, is one of the most successful strike-rate trainers in New Zealand. He operates a stable of just 40 horses yet consistently finishes among the top five trainers. This year, he trained Almakeitgood, one of the leading Karaka Million contenders, who was unfortunately scratched days before the race. We believe he deserves redemption next year, and we were looking for a filly that ticks all the boxes. We believe this is the one.RICH TARGET RACES & BONUSES
- Karaka Millions eligible – giving her a shot at New Zealand’s richest juvenile and 3YO races
- Recent stakes increases in 2YO and 3YO races boost her earning potential
- Pearl Series nominated – eligible for a $20,000 bonus on select maiden and ratings races
- NZB Million Maiden Series eligible – an exciting new opportunity for added prize money
With the growing prize pools in New Zealand racing, this is an exciting time to be involved. We certainly hope this filly can become Allan Sharrock’s first Karaka Million winner. She has passed all veterinary protocols with Dr. Rob Hitchcock and comes fully insured, ensuring your investment is protected. At Inspire Racing, we create a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere where owners can fully experience the thrill of racing, whether you're new to the sport or a seasoned participant. His influence in the Southern Hemisphere has been immense, and his first Australian-bred crop is already dominating.Serious Two-Year-Old Potential & Residual Value. This filly is a first foal with the strength and maturity to make an impact as a two-year-old. She'll be set for the Karaka Million, with a focus on Group and Listed races to boost her credentials.
