Greene Racing

In 2006, David & Heidi Greene purchased a small agistment and pre-training farm at Tahuna. Five years of hard work and tough lessons later, the frustrations of struggling to give the racehorses the best opportunities had got the better of them. They soled the farm and moved to a purpose built facility at Te Rapa in the heart of the Waikato – consisting of two 14 horse barns, outside yards, a walker and high speed treadmill – the complex benefits by having the Te Rapa race track on its doorstep.

Millar Racing Stables
We pride ourselves on offering a level of transparency and engagement that sets a new standard in New Zealand racing.
We know that for our owners, the most frustrating part of the sport can be the silence between races. That’s why we’ve committed to being the industry leaders in communication. From regular updates, newsletters and behind-the-scenes stable footage to direct, honest analysis from Janelle, you are always "on the inside" of the journey.
Our philosophy is simple: we aren't a high-volume factory, and we never will be. This focused approach consistently lands us in the winner’s circle of the country’s biggest races, highlighted recently by the incredible success of stable stars like Avondale Cup winner Final Return and the exciting Special Sakura.
Whether you are looking to step into your very first share or are a seasoned investor, we invite you to join us for the legendary Millar Racing race-day experience. Come and see why we believe that when you race with us, you aren’t just buying a share, you’re joining the inner circle of the sport.

Rugby and Racing Syndication

With Kevin Myers as a first cousin and Jimmy Wallace as his brother-in-law, it's probably little surprise that Brian Nally picked up the breeding bug although he credits that interest to his mother who started with a mare Siobhan Marie, who left the Australian stakes winners Clovelly Bay and Acushla Marie, and from which all of Brian's current band of ten mares descend.
With over 40 years in the breeding industry, and having privately syndicated a few horses amongst friends and family, Brian is looking forward to his new venture as an Authorised Syndicator, working alongside trainers Kevin Myers, Katrina & Simon Alexander and Stacey Dougan.
Rugby and Racing Syndication are Authorised Syndicators in accordance with the Code of Practice established under the Financial Markets Conduct (Equine Bloodstock) Exemption Notice 2021, certified by New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing.

Winning Stride Racing
Sport has always been a major part of Gary’s life, particularly cricket within the Defence community. He also had the privilege of managing New Zealand’s first Invictus Games team to London in 2014. His Defence career included operational service in the Sinai Peninsula and a posting to the New Zealand High Commission in Canberra.
Gary’s passion for racing began at an early age, inspired by his father, a blacksmith and keen racing enthusiast. A passionate racegoer and owner, Gary has successfully managed small family and friends syndicates since 2012.
As an Authorised Syndicator, Gary’s goal is to make racehorse ownership accessible, affordable and enjoyable. His focus is on leasing quality fillies from leading New Zealand studs and creating small syndicates in the lower North Island.
Keeping ownership local and hands-on is central to Gary’s approach. Members will have the opportunity to visit the stables, meet the trainer, horses and stable staff, and feel genuinely involved in their horse’s journey, without the need for extensive travel or a large upfront purchase cost.
For Gary, racing is about more than owning a share in a horse. It is about sharing the excitement, building friendships and creating memorable experiences. He is passionate about introducing new people to the sport and takes great satisfaction from seeing owners enjoy every step of the journey, whether that ends with a winner’s circle or simply the thrill of being there on race day.
