Kicking off a fresh campaign with good trial form to ready him. Placed in four of his six starts to date and looks well placed to resume on a winning note.

Race 8 Ellerslie Saturday, October 26

RUDYARD

Forgive his last-start miss, back to his favourite track, where he has finished out of the money only once from five starts, the step up to 1600m should be ideal.

Race 4 Riccarton Saturday, October 27

BEALEY VALLEY

Followed up bold fresh-up fourth with second placing over 1400m. Up another 200m here and can make the necessary improvement.

Race 4 Trentham Sunday, October 28

BELLA VOCE

Brave when finishing fourth last start after tough run. Back to 1000m and drawn wide, but combined with heavy track that might be the best place to be.
