Awapuni Synthetic July 4 – Race 1

 

 

Unplaced on debut on turf in May, but produced a much-improved performance on this synthetic track on June 22. He was slowly away over 1400m that day but produced a strong finish for second. The step up to 1700m this week looks ideal.

 

 

Te Rapa July 5 – Race 3

 

 

Dominant winner of two of her last three starts, scoring by a combined margin of more than 11 lengths. Loves heavy ground and looks hard to hold out again.

 

 

Otaki July 5 – Race 2

 

 

Eye-catching effort for second in her only previous start. Trainer Allan Sharrock has a bit of time for this filly, who looks well placed to go one better here.

 

 

Tauranga July 6 – Race 4

 

 

Has made up good ground late in her last two runs over 1600m. The extra distance of this 2100m race looks ideal.
