IMPERIAL EMPRESS

Raced keenly behind the pace and couldn’t find any room when she needed. The gaps opened too late and she charged through, missing out by just a short head and nose. That was her first start since the autumn and with time to get over it she’ll be hard to beat next time.

MORE THAN WORDS

Beat only one runner in a hotly contested race, but nothing went her way with gaps closing all the way up the straight. Don’t discard.

ROSA

A big improver with her best result finishing second in start number six. Got well out of her ground but finished with a sustained burst that augurs well when she steps up over a bit more ground.
