Vegas Queen

She looked a smart filly when she took out this race strongly. She had to run the fastest last 600m all day to do it. Not bad for a 2 year filly.

Race 5 Ruakaka, 13 July 

Delorean

She looks close to a win after her game second here. She had to work early to get the lead and only just went down. Should be at her peak now and can go one better next up.

Race 6 Ruakaka, 13 July

Bosch

He would have pushed the winner if he didn't get shuffled back at a vital stage. He ran the fastest closing 400 and 200m and should be hard to beat with more luck next start.

Race 6 Trentham, 13 July 

Jestin Case

She settled last of the small field and they walked it up front. So for her to cover the extra ground going so wide and just get beaten, was a terrific run. She also ran the quickest last 600 of the day on the course proper.

Race 10 Trentham, 13 July

Strides

He looks a next up winner after his strong finish for second in the fastest closing sectionals. 1400 metres looks ideal for him too.
