Race 5 Te Rapa, 18 May 

Aris Aris

She settled behind midfield and then came wide and put in a powerful sprint to get up. She ran the quickest last 600m all day and the shadow roll being applied did the trick. One to follow.

Race 6 Te Rapa, 18 May

Deebee Bellfer

She came home very strongly for fourth in the best last 200 metres of the race. She is nicely placed at the weights to nail another win. Maybe over 2200m which will really suit.

Race 2 Te Rapa, 18 May

Confetti

She was awkwardly from the wide draw but came home very strongly in excellent sectionals. From a better draw next time should prove harder to beat.

Race 3 Te Rapa, 18 May

Almaceta

She was slow away and tailed the field till the straight. But she got home strongly to run fifth in the best last 200m of the race. One to watch out for.

Race 4 Trentham, 18 May

Kawatiri

She drew wide and began well but was snagged right back. She came wide and came home strong for third in the best closing sectionals. She will be harder to beat next up from a decent draw.
