Standout Sectionals - 28 November
Sectional Star of the Week
Race 5 Pukekohe, 25 November
Sacred Satono
After being fourth outer he came with a well timed run to wear down Babylon Berlin running 21.32 and 11.02 for his closing sectionals, and in a fast time 1.02.33. He really sticks is neck out and tries hard so he does look hard to beat in the Railway.
Sectional Standouts
Race 6 Ascot Park 22 November
Tikki
From sixth outer he came home strongly for second in the second best closing sectionals behind the winner. The side winkers helped and he looks ready to strike.
Race 5 Whanganui, 25 November
Belardo Boy
After a slow start he settled at the rear but when balanced up he charged home for second in great sectionals. He can pick up one more before the tracks dry out.
Race 6 New Plymouth, 24 November
Manifique
She settled behind midfield but once clear 200 metres out, she burst away from them in excellent sectionals. She has the breeding to win a few more and is in for a profitable season.
Race 2 Pukekohe, 25 November
Miss Solitaire
From a wide draw she got back. From the 400 to the 200 she ran the quickest sectional (10.42) then got held up and was never tested and ran tenth. One to watch out for next up from a decent draw.
