Cognito

After settling last he weaved his way through and won easing down. His sectionals were outstanding and the race time was strong. It won't be his last win.

Race 7 Riccarton, 28 October

Burn To Shine

He was given all favours when winning this race as he knuckled down when the pressure went on and won well. He gives the impression that a faster tempo will suit so he is the only one that can beat Crocetti in the 2000 Guineas at $8.

 

Race 6 Pukekohe, 28 October 

Canheroc

He settled well from the draw and they came home in 33.79 off the front so he did very well to finsh off the race for 6th in the best sectionals. In a race with a genuine pace, he can make amends.

Race 5 Rotorua, 26 October

Harry Gee

He may have only finished sixth but he was unlucky not to finish closer. He ran the quickest closing sectionals and will improve with that run.

Race 9 Gore, 25 October

Sestina

She was held up in the run home and ran a game third in good sectionals. She looks a definite improver off that.
