Smart Rocks Race 6 Ruakaka 11 June

This was a very smart win. After working hard to lead 800 metres out he still held on strongly running the fastest last 400 and 200 metres, plus it was faster overall time than the Open handicap. He looks to have a very bright future.

Igottadoitmyway Race 8 Ruakaka 11 June

After being held up in the straight, she unwound strongly for second in the best last 200 metres. She will be much harder to beat next up maybe over 1400m which looks like it will suit her now.

Well I Never Race 10 Ruakaka 11 June

From the wide draw she was trapped 4 wide in the open so to run solid closing sectionals for fourth shows she can go much closer with a better run and peaking third up.

Bailador Race 1 Waimate 12 June

With 600 metres to go he was well back but the way he charged late to almost get up, in the best closing sectionals, shows he can win a middle distance race. He has an ideal action for heavy tracks.

The First Link Race 7 Matamata 8 June

From well back in the running, he found the line strongly for second in the best last 600 and 200 metres and looks set to win third up.
