He won second up last campaign and looks set to follow that pattern based on the way he made up ground in this running the best last 400 and 200 metres. Looks a promising type.

Highborn Race 3 Matamata 26 February 

From a  wide draw she got back then improved 3 wide with cover and closed off strongly for fourth in the best last 200 metres. Ready to win again from a decent draw.

Keen To Run Race 3 Otaki 26 February 

From the wide draw was snagged back and settled at the rear. But the way he came home for 6th in the best last 200m showed he just needs a decent draw to get back into winning form.

House Of Cartier Race 7 Otaki 26 February 

She did very well to get through for fifth in the slower ground running the best last 400 and second best last 200 metres. If she can strike a wetter track next up, she has to be hard to beat, and that could be the Auckland Cup and is currently $9

Amano  Race 8 Matamata 26 February 

He did well from the back to get through for second running the best last 400m and 200m of the race. That was his fourth run back from a spell so he will be right at peak fitness next up.
