It was only his second start but the way he won in smart time and excellent closing sectionals, shows that he has real potential to win a few races.

Tamahine Race 6 Awapuni 11 February

Her work over the last 200 metres was smart indicated by her 11.89 sectional, the fastest of the race for seventh. The draw and tempo were against her so watch out next start from a better draw.

Myrtle Creek Race 4 Te Rapa 12 February

From a slow start she settled well back but made up plenty of ground to run the equal fastest last 200 metres. Her dam won seven races from 1000m to 1200m and she looks on track to work towards that.

Blue Moon  Race 8 Te Rapa 12 February

After easing back she closed off strongly in the best sectionals in all categories. With winning form over 1600m and on a wet tracks, she is one to watch for next up with those factors in play.
