After leading out in a fast 23.26 for the first 400 metres, then kicking on the turn, she did well to hold on for a 1.8 length fourth in a fast run race. With natural improvement and a softer lead, she should be harder to run down next time.

Slave To Love Race 8 Te Rapa 20 November

She may have only won two races from nine, but that strike-rate should get better over the next few weeks, based on how she ran home so well for fourth here fresh-up, in the best closing sectionals. She won second-up last campaign and should be in for a very good campaign.

Our Hail Mary Race 6 Awapuni 20 November 

Last campaign, she won third-up and looks set to repeat that pattern the way she got home here late for fourth in the best last 400m and 200m. Watch for the blinkers going on to help her out, too.
