After getting back to last from the wide draw in the big field, he really unwound hard late for fourth chalking up the fastest closing sectionals in all categories. Looks ready to win again with a decent draw.

HYPNOS Race 6 Hastings

They didn't go hard upfront so to get up for second running the fastest closing sectionals in all categories,  to the smart Marscapone, who got all favours near the moderate tempo, means he is ready to repeat his second-up win from last campaign.

BELLESGIRL Race 2 Hastings

She ran home in the best sectionals in all categories and is a nice galloper. Back in Maiden company, she has to be very hard to beat.

VEE CEE Race 8 Te Rapa

She only finished seventh but the way she closed off in the fastest last sectionals in all categories, means she is right on target to win in the right race. She ran a top second to very good mare Sinarahma in a Listed race over 1600m last campaign and has won up to 2400m.

FONTS DE L'ALGAR Race 7 Te Rapa

From a wide draw, she had to snag back and they backed the temp off midrace which suited the first two home. So for her to run the Fastest L800 and L600 doing it wide from 600m out and fighting on for third, means this very nice Rating 63 mare is going to improve off that run after an issue, and to be a force to be reckoned with wherever she goes next start.

COVENTINA BAY Race 6 Te Rapa

After being held up 200 metres out she ducked down near the rail and hit the line hard for fourth running her L200 in 11.30, the fastest of the day. She has won 5 from 7 races on Good to heavy tracks.
