Resumed with a strong-finishing third behind the talented Origin Of Love on September 27. She ran the fastest last 800m, 600m, 400m and 200m in the race that day and closed to within a neck and a long neck of the winner. Looks ready for the step up to 1600m.

 

 

Ellerslie October 18 – Race 2

 

 

His last three starts have produced two seconds to highly talented stablemate Churmatt, along with a third behind Platinum Diamond and Churmatt in the Wanganui Guineas. He drops to maiden company here and it looks like an ideal opportunity for him to put a win on the board.

 

 

Trentham October 18 – Race 5

 

 

Impressive last-start winner of a very similar race over this course and distance, improving his career record to three wins from just five starts. Stays in Rating 75 company here and looks well placed again with Sima Mxothwa’s 3kg claim.

 

 

Waverley October 19 – Race 1

 

 

She has found the line well to place in her first two starts, both over 1300m. Steps up to 1650m on Sunday and looks hard to beat.

 

 

Ashburton October 19 – Race 10

 

 

Promising placings in her first two starts in this campaign and looks ideally suited to the step up to 1600m on Sunday – a distance she has previously raced five times over for two wins and a placing.
