Talented gelding who was a close fourth in the Gr. 3 Championship Stakes last season. Promising resuming run for fourth in a strong 1300m race at Ellerslie on September 6. Looks a big chance here over 1600m – a distance he has a one-start, one-win record over.

 

 

Te Rapa September 27 – Race 3

 

 

Highly impressive winner of both of his last two starts on heavy tracks. He’s won twice at Te Rapa before and can make it three if he gets track conditions to suit again on Saturday.

 

 

Riccarton September 27 – Race 1

 

 

Placed in five of her nine starts including the Karaka Millions 2YO, and was a solid fifth in the Canterbury Belle Stakes last start. Big drop down to maiden company here. Should be too good.

 

 

Waverley September 28 – Race 7

 

 

Has made a big impression winning his last two. Can extend that sequence to three.
