Ruakaka June 28 – Race 1

 

 

A well-related son of Ten Sovereigns and the New Zealand Oaks winner Artistic, this gelding showed promise in a three-start campaign last winter – including a close fourth over this course and distance behind Whiskey ‘N Roses, I’m All In and Magice. He won a recent Ellerslie trial in good style and looks ready to run a bold race fresh.

 

 

Trentham June 28 – Race 5

 

 

This four-year-old has been placed in three of his five starts to date and produced a strong finish for second over 2100m last start. He doesn’t need to improve much to be taking this out.

 

 

Wingatui June 29 – Race 3

 

 

A close and unlucky second over the same distance at Timaru last start. Looks close to a maiden win.
