Keeps running good races without much reward, this time having to clear a tricky spot back on the inside and finishing well down the outside for fourth. Stay with him.

Should have finished at least in the top three after being blocked for a run until the final stages and having to settle for fifth. Gets another chance back at Riccarton next week.

 

 

Te Rapa, April 13

 

Had a lot of ground to make up and did well to finish just two lengths off the winner in a strong form race. Up to 1400m next looks ideal.
