Lost for speed to become tailed off but when she gathered momentum hit the line late for fourth, beaten less than a length. Back to the turf she’s one to watch.

Stepping up from maiden win to strong age-group company, the easy tempo went right against her but she still made good late ground. One to follow as distances increase.

 

 

Trentham December 7

 

 

Everything went against him cluttered up in the running and finally got clear when it was all over. Deserves better and might get in a race like the Rich Hill Mile, three years after his first big win.

 

 

Te Aroha December 8

 

Got well back before working through and hitting the line well for third. Better for the experience and ready to break through.
