Geriatrix

He drew wide and dropped back to last to the turn. Then he came wide and balanced up and ran home very strongly for seventh and in the fastest last 600 and 200 metres all day. Over 1400m next up with a good pace, he looks hard to beat.

Race 9 Te Rapa, 27 April

Matane

From the wide draw she went back and finished off strongly for fifth with a good wet track action. Looks ready to strike from a better draw.

King Of Hearts

He came from midfield and ran home very well in the best last 600m all day. That was his second run back from a spell and looks ready to go one better next up.

Race 7 Otaki, 25 April 

Islington Lass

She was caught 3 wide with cover and was hampered 300m out, yet still almost won and ran the best closing sectionals. She is ready to win again.
