Settled midfield on the fence and while she wasn’t far off the leading pack on the home turn she couldn’t get a crack at them. A severe check with 200m to run didn’t help either, and put in big strides when finally clear.

Forget he went round. Even in the small field he couldn’t get a go and crossed the line with a lot more to give.

SENSE OF TIMING

Settled back after a slow start and checked on multiple occasions when stuck for room. Hit the line well for fourth in a blanket finish.

A very encouraging debut effort to finish fourth over 2050m. Raced greenly when the pressure went on and should have derived plenty in experience and fitness.
