Irish Legacy

After showing a lack of speed early, she settled in the second half of the field, then was held up in the straight but finished off hard in the straight for third. She ran her last 200 in 11.52 which was the fastest all day. She obviously has above average ability.

Eyesonlyonme

She was caught 3 wide near the pace and in the open, so had every excuse to tire. But instead, she fought back gamely for second and ran the quickest last 200 in the race! One to follow from the Nigel Tiley stable.

Race 10 Ellerslie, 2 March

Bella Waters

She snagged back from the wide draw and settled last. In the straight she only got out with 200 metres to run and sprinted hard to run fifth, in the one of the quickest last 200 metres all day. Just need s a good draw and a good pace to win.

Race 9 Wingatui, 2 March 

Willis

From a good draw he got a good run but was held up in the straight but when clear hit the line hard for third and was in front soon after the post. His last 200 metres was run in 12.24, the second fastest of the race.

Race 10 Wingatui, 2 March

Albatross

After tailing the field by a few lengths after a slow start, she unwound late for ninth and ran the quickest last 200 metres. She is a big impressive type and can win in this grade ( R65 ) very soon.
