Race 3 - #5 TERRA PRETA (Win)

She is starting to string together a healthy record and her effort last start when stepping up in grade was super. The leader was always going to be hard to run down on that occasion given the easy lead and she fought gamely. Back to her home track and sticking at 1400m, she shapes as a super chance here. With every run she has, she continues to furnish into a more professional racehorse and I think we can expect to see her in a higher grade than this very soon. At $3.30, the early market support suggests she is here to win.

Race 4 - #5 SHAMUS (Win)

He is such an honest galloper, and he will relish the big drop-in class from his last outing in the Gr.1 Telegraph. His 1400m record is super and he meets this field well at the weights considering his last start 6^th just 2 lengths from the winner in a WFA group 1. The draw is sticky but in this field, Ryan Elliot should be able to find a spot not too far off the speed for the pair. He is short at $2.50 but I think he is a deserving favourite here.

Race 7 - #10 LEAVE A LIGHT ON (Each Way)

A tidy race here for the 3YO fillies who will all be putting their Gr.1 New Zealand Oaks hopes on the line. The daughter of Eminent was absolutely sensational when scoring a runaway win last start in maiden company and I think she will relish the rise to 1800m here. She proved she can run on speed and produce nice sectionals doing so. She will bowl forward here and give a good sight at $14 and $4.20.
