Race 4 - #7 THE RADIANT ONE (Win)

The Radiant One profiles nicely for this Open Handicap 1200m contest, where she looks to get a great sit from the low gate (2) off what looks a very hot early tempo. Tina Comignaghi sticking, and the expected improved track conditions are both big ticks for this mare fourth up. This race looks tailor-made for The Radiant One to return to winning form.

Race 7 - #7 VADARA (Win)

In what doesn’t look to be an overly strong maiden 2000m race, Vadara looks to have more upside than most in this field. Vadara’s backing up 7 days between runs from her gallant 3^rd over the mile at Wingatui last week, which should have her rock hard fit for her first look at the 2000m trip. Although the wide gate (12) doesn’t look great on paper, the 2000m start point at Gore has an approx. 400m run into the first bend, which should give Brandon May every opportunity to find a spot.
