Race 7 - #3 BURN TO SHINE (Win)

He looks to have gone to another level in his 3yo season, having put up two impressive performances, before not looking to handle the conditions at Hastings when finishing a well beaten 3^rd behind race rival, Lantern Way. The low draw (2) should see him land an economical position close to the speed, where he looks to have a key map advantage over the other leading chances, Trobriand & Lantern Way. The return to firmer conditions here will also be much more to Burn To Shine’s liking. A repeat effort of his 2^nd behind Tokyo Tycoon two back would see him very hard to beat here.

Race 3 - #1 BRANCASTER BOMBER (Win)

He maps to land in front on the fence, in what looks a race where he could prove hard to catch with the 3kg claim of Lemmy Douglas. After Lemmy’s claim, Brancaster Bomber meets early race favourite, Spartan, 3.5kg better off at the weights from when they last met here in September, where only 1L separated them. He’s now had a couple of runs back from a short spell, should be close to his peak 3^rd up this campaign and running out the 1200m strongly.
