Race 4 Cambridge 27 September 

Vino Valentino

After beginning awkwardly and getting back, when she got clear air, she almost got up in the best last 400 and 200 metres. She won second up last campaign.

Race 3 Marton, 28 September

Cheveux

She closed off hard for third over 1100 metres in the best closing sectionals here, second up. She went some good races last campaign in strong fields. Over more ground she looks ready to strike from the hot Lisa Latta stable.

Race 2 Te Rapa, 29 September

Cindy Falls

After being trapped three wide in the open she kept coming for a very game second to a good horse, in good sectionals. On that effort, she won't be in this grade for much longer.

Race 3 Hastings, 30 September

Clever Ruds

She fought hard after trailing and was beaten on the post in good sectionals. She won third up last campaign and looks set to repeat that pattern.

 

Race 8 Riccarton, Park 30 September 

Aljay

He looks right on track for back to back NZ Cup victories. He came home in very good sectionals considering he was giving weight to all of them.
