Well fancied on debut but became awkwardly positioned after slow start and never looked like threatening. Still finished less than five lengths from the winner and bound to have learned a lot from the experience.

Has been racing well since clearing maiden grade in late winter and should have finished closer than fourth this time. Strong late burst when the gaps appeared and went down by less than a length.

No match for the winner, having to settle for yet another second placing. Would still have finished closer after being blocked for first half of the home straight. Surely next time?

Chances looked forlorn when missing the start by lengths, yet somehow managed to pick herself up and beat all but the winner.
