This was a decisive win! He settled well back off a moderate tempo and then came home in outstanding sectionals to win easing down. With 2 wins from 7 starts he looks set for a very good campaign.

Watch Out

After settling well back off the fast pace she got home in the quickest sectionals all day for second. She surely must win again soon.

Race 8 Te Rapa, 17 September

Zaila

After blowing the start he finally caught the field. From there he put in an amazing finish in great sectionals to grab second. Usually begins ok so next up he will be a force to be reckoned with.

Race 9 Te Rapa, 17 September

Bonny Lass

From the wide draw she was taken back for cover, but was a long way off Johny Johny. But she got going before the turn and took third place in the best sectionals with a big weight. Can only improve off that.

Race 7 Taupo, 15 September 

Cognito

This very good galloper got back and ran second to a very good mare in excellent closing sectionals. He looks set for a great campaign.
