Bozo

She raced off the pace from the wide draw and came with some powerful strides to burst away late in the race. She looks to have the ability to win more races.

Race 5 Riccarton, Park 5 August

Budai

He came from well off the pace to get home in the strongest last 200 metres for sixth. He was just warming up and looks a winner next week.

Race 6 Ruakaka, 5 August 

La Dolce Vita

From the wide draw she got back but rattled home for third in the fastest sectionals. When she drops back to R65 class, she will be harder to hold out.

Race 7 Ruakaka, 5 August 

Warsaw

He was snagged back to the rear at the start from the wide draw, but came with a relentless run to get up and win. His sectionals were excellent and can be followed with confidence.

Race 4 Cambridge, 2 August

Slipper Island

This was an impressive win. His closing sectionals were excellent and it was only his second run back from a spell. Needs a decent surface though.
