Hit The Road Jack

Commentator George Simon said, “Mark that down. That was a lovely run.” And the sectionals back it up with the second fastest last 600 metres all day. He is $16 in the Futures market for the Winter Cup (53kgs) and worth backing at that price.

Race 3 Oamaru, 26 July

Our Clarry

He disputed a fast pace in fast opening sectionals and managed to fight on well for fourth. He will be improved with that and back in class, he can win.

Race 3 Cambridge, 26 July

Alpha Charlie

At his second run back from a spell, he came home in good sectionals. He will improve with that and will be much harder to beat next up here.

Race 6 Te Rapa, 29 July

Poser

Punters who were on her can rightfully feel hard done by. If she had not begun awkwardly and got back, she surely would have won. Her sectionals were excellent considering the ground she lost at the start.

Race 6 Otaki, 29 July

Helluvah Return

This was her second run back and after travelling wide she got hampered with 600 metres to go. But put in a big effort to get up for second in very good sectionals, wide on the track. She has to be hard to beat third up.
