I really like the $5/$2 about this locally trained runner who has performed well here in the past. The step up to 1400m 3^rd up looks to be an ideal progression. From the low gate (3), with only 52kg on his back after Kelsey Hannan’s claim, Follow Your Dreams looks very well placed to run a bold race here. Kelsey Hannan/Rae & Williams combination has been successful in the past, having paired for 10 wins and 8 placings from 36 starts.

Race 4 - #2 WHISKEY N’ RYE (Each Way)

2yo Derryn gelding who was the subject of a significant betting move for his debut run at Pukekohe on 21^st June, where he travelled keenly throughout before weakening late in the tough Heavy10 going. Expecting he will get a chance to race much more tractably here, where he’s drawn low (2), and the race tempo maps to be very strong. The Ruakaka track will be in far better shape than the Heavy10 he struck last time, I’m looking for a much-improved effort from Whiskey N’ Rye here, well worth a speculative bet at the $13/$4 for mine.
