Race 7 - #4 PROSERVE (Win)

Off the back of his last two outings, he is a deserving favourite in this. While it isn’t easy to win three in a row and I have a watch on horses like Jakkalnuts and Eavesdrop, it is hard to argue against the form Proserve is in. He will have to mitigate the rise in the weights, but his record at Riccarton over the 2000m is unblemished and the Heavy track shouldn’t be an issue. He will get back in the early stages and look to reel them in down the long home straight.

Race 5 - #6 MININJAGIRL (Each Way)

A consistent type who is yet to finish worse than 4^th in her 10-start career. Got a well-deserved maiden win at her last outing and a similar performance would see her right in this. There are a few nice types ahead of her in the market, but it is an even field for this grade, and her opening quote of $10 & $3.20 certainly represents value here.
