She is going to start a deserving favourite in this event, despite her career long winless streak at any distance outside of 1600m. She was a strong 2^nd over 2000m in the Manawatu Breeders two starts ago and has since been freshened. She has drawn the outside but in a small field she should be able to get a nice spot with cover around mid-field. The 3kg claim of Ciel Butler will be a big assist and I think on her class alone, she can account for this field.

Race 4 - #6 ZOEY SATIN (Each Way)

She put up a great performance fresh up last start, only going down narrowly over 1340m. The rise to 1600m here suits perfectly and she is another who will benefit from Lemmy Douglas’ 3kg claim. She meets a very even bunch of Rating 75 horses and a reproduction of her first up effort will put her right in the mix. I am prepared to have an each way play on her at her opening quote of $12/$3.30.
