Classy jumper who looks very hard to beat in the LJ Hooker Manawatu Steeplechase. The four runs back from a spell should have him fit and ready for this 4000m assignment on the likely Heavy10 track.  He couldn’t’ have been any more impressive winning over the hurdles last start, a repeat effort now over the steeples should see him winning here.

Race 3 - #2 WEST COAST (Win)

Grand National Steeplechase winner who is on the 7-day back up here after a sharp run behind Lurid on the flat last week. The run last week was excellent in the worst part of the ground, which should have him fit to tackle this maiden hurdle. He’s never been unplaced over the jumps, I don’t expect that will be changing here.
