His record in just 7 starts to date is very impressive and the more you look into it, this race looks ideal for him. He goes well fresh, his Heavy track stats are nearly unblemished and he has to carry just 51kg thanks to the 3kg claim of Ciel Butler. Off the back of a tidy trial at Cambridge, he should be ready to run well fresh on a very testing track. Not only does he profile well here, but the field around him are also all older horses resuming who may want further or require a few runs to get up to fitness and are giving him a big head start at the weights. It is another step up to Open company, but the early market support suggests he ticks all the boxes here.

Race 6 - #5 BLUSHING BEAUTY (E/W)

She will have taken improvement from the run first up and comes into the race boasting good wet track form. Already a winner in this grade in a previous prep, shows she has the ability to score in an open race like this. She may want a little further, but I think this track will be very testing and the 1400m should be her sweet spot second up.
