Race 1 Awapuni, 1 March

Vespacian

After setting a solid pace in an average of 12.34 per 200 metres to the 600 metres, she did really well to hold second. Her time was quicker than the R65 race and she looks a good thing next up.

Race 9 Rotorua, 2 March

Helly Belly

She won this with plenty in hand in the quickest closing sectionals. As the distances increase so will her chances. In the right stable to make her a good one to follow.

Race 3 Waverley, 3 March

Idyllic

This was a very impressive winner in her maiden race. She ran faster time than the R65 grade and her time of 1.09.20 was the fastest a maiden has run around there. Lovely looking galloper worth following.

Race 8 Wingatui, 4 March

Mayor Of Norwood

Had an interrupted passage from back in the field and by the time he got clear and balanced up, the winner had it won. His sectionals were the best in the race and he looks set to win next up.

Race 1 Te Rapa, 4 March

Shockallia

He may have finished fifth but should have tested the winner if he wasn't held up for 100 metres. His sectionals were still the best in the race, and with better luck next time, should be a winner.
