TAKES TIME: First starter settled back in early running and then checked sharply back to rear when about to make her move. Did well to finish on for fifth just over two lengths from the winner.

BAHIA EMERALD: Well off the pace and had no room to improve approaching the home straight. Got clear with 300m to run and hit the line hard to finish third.

Awapuni Saturday November 19

NUN SO BAD: Good effort for third in first start out of maiden grade. Got back to last and didn’t get going until late but was taking a lot of ground off the first two in the final stages.
