She made up plenty of ground in the last 200 metres with a storming finish running a quick last 200 metres. She faced some strong opposition last season so watch out for her in the South Island.

Class Beethoven Race 8 Pukekohe  8 November

There was plenty of money to say he would go well and he ran up to it by putting in a big late finish in the best closing sectionals. Next up he should be ready.

Redford Race 9 Riccarton Park 9 November

After a slow start he got to the outside in the straight and ran on strongly for tenth in the best last 400 and 200m. He didn't have a chance the way the race was run so watch out next up.

Pick Of The Litter Race 2 Tauranga 11 November

This was a good effort to beat a good horse in Beyond Violet in the best closing sectionals. She looks to have plenty of upside.

She got well back and on the turn had to switch to the inner to make good ground late. Her last 200 metres was the second quickest finishing ninth, so watch out for a quick improvement.
