Channel Surfer Race 1 Pukekohe 1 November 

From the rear he did really well to run second in the best sectionals in all categories. Ran third to the 2000 Guineas winner and looks ready to win at least a maiden.

Lashana Race 7 Avondale 2 November

After travelling behind midfield, she came wide and just got beaten in excellent sectionals. Third up up she will be fitter and maybe blinkers on could help.

Wagon Wheel Race 1 Woodville 3 November 

He had to run one of the quickest last 200 metres of the day to get up after looking no hope on the corner. A smart looking galloper who has a bright future.

Sophia's Magic Race 5 Waikato 5 November

She may have finished seventh of eight but they were the best sectionals and she was held up late. There was plenty of money to say she could run well too.

Desert Lightning Race 9 Riccarton Park 5 November

In a race that favoured on pace runners, he did remarkably well to almost win. He was unlucky before that too, so should be followed with confidence in a race with at least even tempo.
