A slow start cost her a win here as she charged home in excellent sectionals. She can begin better so maybe from a good draw next up, she can make amends.

Double Prosperity Race 2 Riccarton Park 9 April

He ran the best closing sectionals in all categories coming from well back on the turn. More ground and a wetter track will be ideal for him third up.

Lord Darci Race 5 Riccarton Park 9 April

He was just a victim of getting too far back in a huge 18 horse field. The way he got home running the best sectionals in all categories, shows that he is ready to strike next up.

Zelinski Race 7 Riccarton Park 9 April

This was an excellent win to set a solid tempo and still be able to win well in very good time. The key to him seems to be leading on a decent surface. So if he can get those conditions met next start, he can go back to back after having a few misses.

Pure Incanto Race 5 Awapuni 8 April

That was her first run for a few weeks. Her closing last 200m was excellent so if she can just improve a couple of lengths off that, she can win next up.
