CHARLES ROAD: The warhorse stayer relishes over the 2 miles and we saw that on Saturday. The former Melbourne Cup contender has plans to head back across the Tasman and if he's in the Sydney Cup this year - WATCH OUT.

PUTORINO: Ran on very strongly to finish into 3rd place after being back in the field and had to make up plenty of ground. The 4YO gelding is still searching for his maiden win but you can expect it to come within his next 2 starts

MASTER LINCOLN: Plugged away gamely under the magic man Chris Johnson to finish 3rd behind the well-fancied Tapdog. Was only a length off the winner in the end, note him down with conviction.
