LA VELOCITA: She deserves another chance despite finishing only ninth. After an early check became awkwardly placed and was starved of any room from the top of the straight, losing all momentum and working home when it was all over.

WILD MOOSE: Ran the race of his short career when third in the Levin Classic. Appeared to lose momentum rounding the turn but dug deep to finish right behind two obvious class acts.
