PARISIAN POPPY: A good effort to finish so close in third after being forced to race wide. Shapes as a winner at short notice.

Tauranga 2^nd January

ZAAXINA: Stuck to her task bravely after racing on the speed in testing conditions. Far better for the experience and looks an early winner.

Greymouth 4^th January

STOP MAKING SENSE: Another honest performance, closing well for third from well back. Deserves a win.
