OUR ALLEY CAT: Blew the start and then blocked when full of running. Did well to finish so close to a couple of smart sorts.

Awapuni 26^th December

POWER ‘N’ PASSION: Got back early, but when making ground through the pack soon after straightening was stopped in tracks and lucky not to fall. Stay with her.

Wingatui 26^th December

SECRET SOUND: Little went right from the start after being checked back to the rear and then having no luck finding room when full of running. Deserves another chance.

Rotorua 28^th December

TOPKAPI: Slow away from the awkward barrier and left with too much to do. Fourth place was a good effort in the circumstances and looks one to stay with over 1600m or further.
