PRISE DE FER didn’t have things go his way in the Foxbridge Plate and did very well to finish third at a distance well short of his best. He’s in for a big season.

That was a very encouraging first-up second by GUILLADA on ground much heavier ground than she prefers. Trainer Bryce Newman should have a lot of fun with this five-year-old on better tracks after she showed real potential last season.
