PAINT ME RED: That was a good effort to run second stepping up from his maiden win to Rating 65 grade. He had to do a lot of early work from his wide draw but tried all the way to the line. Stay with him.

SUPREME HEIGHTS: Nothing went her way, losing an early position and then having to go round the field from well back. Her last 200m to finish a close fifth was very impressive, suggesting a bit further in distance won’t worry her.

LORD PAINTON: This Reliable Man gelding won’t be a maiden for long. He will take a lot from his debut effort for second and probably won’t mind a better track in the weeks ahead.
