A R75 1600m race ($40,000) has been added to the Tauranga meeting on Saturday 2 November. Horses that were in the R75 1600m final acceptances for Waikato on 28 October will be given preference for this race notwithstanding the safety limit for Tauranga is 14 starters. The rail is in the True position.  NZTR together with the club will look to divide another race, if required, depending on numbers at withdrawal time.
