We’re pleased to advise that the final phase of testing for our new strathayr track at Ellerslie has been confirmed for Monday, 11 December in the form of trials.  The trials will be restricted to a maximum of 60 horses to ensure our gradual approach to racing returning to the track is adhered to.  Due to the anticipated level of interest from trainers, an entry criteria has been devised based on the number of starters a trainer has had at Pukekohe Park last season.  The Club is in the process of contacting trainers now about the entry criteria and the number of slots available. 

We recognise this might be disappointing for some and as a result ATR has committed to staging gallops for horses intending to run on Saturday, 14 January, and a further opportunity subsequent to that for horses running on TAB Karaka Millions night to allow access to the track for all prior to these significant racedays.  Dates for these gallops are yet to be confirmed but will be communicated as soon as possible.
