NZTR and the South Island Programming Committee have approved an addition and change to the following meetings in September and October:

Saturday 16 September at Riccarton Park – The addition of a Mdn 1200 ($25,000). This addresses a gap in the programme. As an added race this will NOT be divided.

Saturday 14 October at Ashburton – The R75 2200m to become an Open 2200m ($50,000). This creates a better overall staying programme leading into NZ Cup week.
