Due to the Te Aroha track’s unavailability for racing until November changes have been made to accommodate the two feature jumps meetings in September. As a result there are consequential changes involving the Tauranga, Waverley, Egmont, Rotorua and Waikato clubs.

It has also been recommended, after an inspection by the club and regional track advisor, to transfer next Saturday’s meeting from Rotorua to ensure the readiness of that track for their meetings in the new season.

The changes to the calendar are as follows:

Saturday 22 July Racing Rotorua to Racing Tauranga at Tauranga

Friday 25 August Egmont RC to Waverley RC at Waverley (jumps meeting)

Sunday 3 September Pakuranga Hunt to Egmont RC at Hawera (jumps meeting)

Sunday 17 September Racing Te Aroha to Waikato Thoroughbred Racing at Te Rapa – (jumps meeting)

Saturday 23 September Waikato Thoroughbred Racing to Racing Tauranga at Tauranga

Sunday 24 September Racing Tauranga to Racing Rotorua at Rotorua

The programmes for these meetings will remain the same, however there will be minor distance changes required to accommodate appropriate starting points.
